What is breathwork

Breathwork is a powerful, active meditation technique for self-healing. Breathwork is an umbrella term for various practices where the conscious control of breathing is meant to influence your mental, emotional and or physical state. I’ve found strategies for shifting your energy level in mere moments – no equipment, no side effects, and no prescription needed. There are also breathwork strategies for weight loss and still others for meditation and healing.

 

Just follow the simple instructions as outlined in the graph. Inhale for the count of…, hold for the count of…, exhale for the count of…, hold for the count of…, repeat as needed.  You can attain the effect of relaxation, balance or additional energy. Try it.

NOTE:  For stress release, you may want to try balance first before moving into relaxing.

    Hey Kimberly, this is good but add a little thought to it, “that I am drawing in the powerful life energy, blue in color which slowly enters my body and charges every cell of it so as to de-stress me and energize me”. while holding, circulate that pranic energy or life energy through your limbs and heal yourself. Then exhale and visualize black foul-smelling cloud patches are going out of your body and going far away from you and then hold while thinking that stress, diseases and evil thoughts will never come back to you! See what happens to you in 15days of time.

    Ashok, Thank You for the added, “Oomph” to this technique. I had the opportunity to apply your addition just this evening. LOVED it. Visualization and thought management are huge in my world and work. Definitely going to keep doing this.
